Apply for Artist in Residence 


The Application Process

We consider all forms of art except those that manipulate, disrupt, or disturb the cottages or park's environment.

To be considered, you must submit your application. Applicants who fail to submit all requirements will be ineligible for selection. 


No application fees required


The Application Deadline

We are accepting applications for our 2019 Fall artist in residence program through July 15, 2019.


The Selection Process

All applicants will be notified no later than August 15, 2019 if they are selected for the upcoming residency.

A jury composed of a local and regional representative and professionals from various disciplines will select the finalists. The selection is based on artistic integrity, a statement of purpose, willingness to lend and/or donate or perform a finished piece of work inspired by or created during the time spent in Harbor Beach for an exhibit during the summer season 2020.

Selections are made without regard to race, religion, marital status, sex, age, or national origin. 


Failure to Submit Required Materials

Please refer to the application procedure when preparing your application. The sole submission of a resume is insufficient. Proper scoring of each application can only take place if all required information is submitted. Applicants who fail to submit all requirements will be ineligible for selection.
